Moogle Name: Flavius Pokeby Hufflepuff Moogle Gender: Male
WEARING → This shirt → Pair of brown dress pants → A pair of suspenders → Coat from home → These boots → Using the careful clippings of a tree, paint and preserve, Ivy has meticulously crafted a likeness of Pickett into a lapel pin, designed to look like its peeking from around the fold of his collar or the depth of his pocket depending on his preference of placement. (From Pamela; Christmas 2017) → A silver ring (From Pamela; Christmas 2017)
SUPPLIES → A copy of his own book, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, that he'd been working on as a gift for little Newt prior to his disappearance from the Pokemon World. → A wrapped notebook as well, but this one isn't meant for his use. Instead, it's a tiny 100 page pocket notebook filled cover to cover with fantastic beasts and magical objects from Ford's own dimension, complete with illustrations (this gift has been in the works a long time. He pretty much started it right after he finished Armin's book in Mount Moon). Of note are the ten tiers of ghost, the hide-behind, unicorns, gnomes, zombies, the plaidypus, barf fairies, the stomach-faced duck, beard cubs, truth teeth, the portal-potty (yes really), and more. It also doesn't come wrapped in paper- instead it's bundled into a scarf made to look like a Comfey, along with a small note that says Would you believe this isn't the first time I've had to recreate my life's work from scratch? -- Ford (From Ford; Christmas 2017) → A handwritten journal documenting all of the Pokemon that Newt encountered and/or care for during his year spent in Johto/Kanto. Every page has detailed notes about the specific Pokemon Newt made friends with along with sketches of said individual. Some specimens have two to three pages depending on how long Newt spent with them or if they were apart of a breeding project. (The section on Lapras is quite extensive.) → An extensive field guide to the reefs around Island Four, written in Armin's neat cursive. The first part of the journal was filled with information on the reef itself, directions and special features (some painstakingly, but again, somewhat inexpertly drawn out by Armin) as well as notes on which species of pokemon preferred which area of the reef. The latter part of the journal was filled with information on the pokemon of the reef themselves, information Armin had gotten from books, his own experiences and from talking with the researchers at the laboratory. He had done his best to write something on every pokemon that could possibly be encountered there, though the entries for the ones he knew best --you don't even want to know how many pages he spent on Wailmers-- were more extensive than others. (From Armin; Birthday 2018) → One Water Stone → One bag of berries → 10,000 gil
Pines and Arlert came home with Newt after he attended the Festival of Lights. While he would have happily brought more of the felines he met home, these two seemed to bond to the wizard and ended up following him through the entirety of the festival.
Newt decided to name them after two of his friends from the world he previous lived in, Ford Pines and Armin Arlert, as a bit of an homage to his fellow scientists.
